The Treads are a D.C.-based band: guitar, mandolin, bass, and drums. Sometimes a fiddle or a banjo.
Our band plays alt-country, roots rock, Southern Gothic, and Americana – both originals and covers. We bring together a diverse musical heritage, from the Mississippi Delta to the Virginia Piedmont. The sets are usually acoustic-electric, but we sometimes do acoustic-only gigs.
